We are going to Pigeon Forge, TN. It’s the second marriage for both of us and we both have older kids who we are taking along and our parents are coming too. We are renting a cabin in Sevierville that will fit all of us.

Las Vegas is nice if you like gambling and shows. Also outdoor stuff like hiking and the Hoover Dam.

We threw around several ideas of places to go for our honeymoon and ultimately decided to go to Walt Disney World. I love the idea of booking a package and having everything paid for before we get there.....hotel, tickets, and meals. There are also several things there for adults to do. I'm really excited!

We are doing a trip from Seattle WA and driving down to San Fran with stops along the way. We decided we can always go to Jamaica, but we probably will never take the time after kids to so an intimate drive down the coast.

Since we’re getting married in January, we’re having a mini honeymoon in northern Michigan in a cute little town called Frankfort (it has the most fabulous and unique hotel). We’re also going to spend some time at an indoor water park nearby (because we LOVE water parks)

We are mini-mooning in historic Natchez, Mississippi in a mansion built in 1818. Our wedding will be here, too. Lots to do and see if you are a history buff in this walk back in time. This is the bridal suite at our venue. Hope you find your perfect place! P.S. I'm originally from Louisiana, you can't not consider New Orleans. It's one of my favorite places and so romantic!!

Our favorite US destinations are: Hawaii, San Diego, Napa, New Orleans, Annapolis (MD), and New York. We live in Denver, the mountain towns can be pretty great too!

It all depends on what you're interested in! Here are some of my favorite places I've been:

    Beach vacation ideas:

-Gulf coast (best beaches in the country IMO)

    -Hawaii (naturally)

-Puerto Rico (people always forget that it's part of the U.S.!)

    Outdoors-y vacation ideas:

-Grand Tetons National Park (the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life, TBH)

-Lake Tahoe (it's not just for skiing--it's my absolute favorite place to go in the summer)

-Cumberland Falls (one of the few places in the world you can see a moonbow!)

    Big city vacation ideas:

    -New York City (naturally)

-San Francisco (I live here now--come in September or October, that's our best weather)

-Chicago (best in the summer time, even if you like the cold--it gets COLD)

    Historical vacation idea:

    -Savannah (absolutely gorgeous)

-Washington D.C. (how could you pass up the Smithsonian?)

-Salem (If the witch museums aren't your bag, there's a lot of literary history here as well)

    Quirky city vacation ideas:

-Portland (my sister lives here and visiting is always a blast)

-New Orleans (IMO this is the city with the most personality in the whole country)

-Santa Fe (it's historically been a haven for artists)

    Charming/Small Town vacation ideas:

-Oregon and/or Washington coast (full of quaint B&B's and scenic, rocky beaches)

-Carmel-by-the-Sea (think cobblestones and fairytale cottages set against the Pacific ocean)

-Paducah (my hometown! Small-town Americana with a thriving arts scene)

These are just places I've been that I can genuinely recommend. Think about the vibe you want out of your honeymoon and go from there--I'm sure you'll find something!
