Charleston, SC! It's a very foodie city and there's good beaches nearby!

Hilton Head, SC is great, especially if you like to golf or play tennis. It's very bikeable and not very commercial.

I was also going to suggest Charleston or Hilton Head, South Carolina!! I’ve been to Charleston and it is so beautiful! And I know two families who go to Hilton Head multiple times a year for vacation because they love it so much.

My fiancé and I decided to do a Glamping trip! We booked a place through Airbnb and the place we picked is gorgeous and inexpensive.

Hilton Head would be a fun spot! Savannah, GA is pretty close by, and there's a ton of things to do there if you don't want to be at the beach the entire time.

Hilton head is amazing, for something really low key and relaxing you can rent a house in the outer banks, NC. This may to be too far but I love the Delaware Beaches (Rehobooth, Bethany etc) and there s a state park in Maryland called Assateague Island where wild horses roam. Happy planning!

Pennsylvania has some amazing outdoor sites, especially upstate. Check out Rickett's Glenn, The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, and the Jim Thorpe area. I know it's not the beach, but there are plenty of swimming opportunities and lakeside beaches.
