urgent new venue needed 8/15/2020

HELP!!

Getting married in MA, and our governor just reduced the capacity for outdoor weddings from 100 to 50. Any venues in NH that have 8/15/2020 available??

I'm sorry! Does New Hampshire allow 100 weddings? I would check the vendor tab and contact every venue possible! Do you have any family members with large yards? You can also check out state parks and public parks or rec halls. Good luck!

I'm from MA. I just cancelled mine again with these new restrictions today. I give up.

I’m in MA does it have to be in NH we have that travel ban. For my wedding I was able to rent an air bnb. The host was okay with having a wedding and I saw on air bnb a lot of host are allowing big weddings for 50. I’m sure you can find a air bnb in NH OR I’ve been to camps in NH that hold weddings. One wedding that was beautiful was at Camp Friendship in the mountains

Since that's only a week away, I think it makes a lot more sense to cut your guest list than to try to move an entire wedding to a new state, as long as you don't cut guests who have plane tickets and hotel reservations. Sure, it's sad to cut people but they will understand that it's not your fault.

Not to mention, you will be competing for a venue with A LOT of couples. I just found this article about this issue.

Try the cider press at the barn in wolfeboro we just moved ours up there for November. Its beautiful. You can find them on wedding wire and were doing a discount for 2020 weddings

    I would agree with this.

NH might react and start checking out of state travelers (NY is).

    I'm sorry about this.

I have had to postpone my wedding 4 times now and not sure when able to reschedule it for now. But don’t give up and some states are going more crazy than others

I think cutting your list makes much more sense than trying to change venues AND change states in a week. That’s too much unnecessary stress and change to add onto yourself, your guests and your vendors this close to the date. Sorry you’re dealing with this.
