Upcoming weddings advice and chat

Hello everybody.

I am getting married October 3rd here in MN and I was wondering what everybody was doing when it comes to the mask mandate at their wedding/receptions.
My fiancé and I decided we are going to continue on with our wedding, and hoping that maybe mask restrictions will be a little more lose. I am really really struggling with this, and just being a covid-19 bride. I am looking for kind discussions that are NOT political.
I feel extremely alone in all this and would just like to hear some bad, some good, and in between. What are your church’s and venues telling you? How are you dealing with everything? Need any helpful support (I know I do!)
My venue right now said all guests need to wear masks inside the venue when they are not eating or drinking... I’m a little confused because we will have appetizers and beverages served from start til end of the reception. I am not discouraging masks, I personally think it’s too loose of terms and how will guests react? I have kept up with conversations with guests and letting them know that if they don’t feel comfortable they don’t need to feel obligated to come ( no hard feelings!) or if they choose to wear a mask I am 100% ok with it!
I also want to disclaim I am super GRATEFUL that I am still able to proceed with my wedding, but I also have the right to feel upset, confused, frustrated, and stressed.

I'm proceeding with my October wedding. The guests I talked to are ok with the mask requirement. I just bought my entire bridal party masks that match the color of their dress/ vest and tie from the alterations shop. I just need to find one more for the groom and buy my white one. That made me think my pics will still look nice even though can't tell smiles. I also bought a couple boxes of disposable in case guests forget theirs. I too will have no hard feeling If they don't come. It's hard enough planning a wedding pre covid. 2 years of engagement, I'm done with the regular stress of it and the extra. I just want the wedding over and married life

Getting cute masks help😷 We did a minimony in a chapel and had everyone masked the whole time. We gave our witnesses matching mask and mini hand sanitizers. We livestreamed our ceremony so people could participate virtually and did a recording for those who missed the livestream. For reception we did a driveway picnic. So we kept hand sanitizer at the food table and people needed to be masked while getting food. Upcoming weddings advice and chat 1
