What do you like? Are you outdoorsy, beachy, like more of the museum/culture type stuff? There are definitely some nice places not so far from you and you can even fly places that aren't too expensive.

If you look at the vacation packages on sites like expedia, they have deals for flight/hotel for $300/$400 a person... some even all inclusive. I'd look at these too.

Im originally from the Adirondacks and it is beautiful!!! Especially in the fall... places to stay are cheap too!

FH and I are going to Las Vegas, we booked it on expedia for just under $700 and that includes the flight and hotel (5 days, 4 nights).

We are doing a mini moon to Key West for 3 days, then doing a big trip to Europe (both families live there) after I finish college, so it will be aniversary/graduation trip.
