You don’t send out your own shower invites and it’s usually held a month or two before the wedding.


Honestly just call people up to announce your date like couples used to do.

We are not having the shower right before the wedding, there are three other weddings going on during that time we will be attending/in along with other events- so I cannot have a shower august September or October before my wedding. Which is why we had to do it in July.

I think that’s absolutely fine.

It does not matter if you send Saves 4-6 months out, and Shower invitations about 6 weeks before the shower, They rather reinforce each other, not confuse one with the other.
