Trying to schedule a makeup trial. Should i send a follow up email?

Sarah, on August 2, 2022 at 9:28 AM Posted in Planning 0 4

Hello lovely people! When I booked my makeup artist a year ago she said she would reach out about 2 months before my wedding to schedule a trial for about a month before. I hadn't heard anything and I need to give my job notice because I plan to take time off for the trial so I reached out last Thursday about scheduling a trial. I haven't heard anything back yet. Is it too soon to send a follow up email? My schedule is just booking up so quickly with all of these last appointments and I need to give my work notice, but I also know she is probably busy and I don't want to be a pest. Should I wait until Thursday so it has been a full week? TIA!

I think waiting until Thursday will be fine. Just in case she was busy Friday-Sunday. I think a week is a good amount of time for a follow up.

Yes, give her until Thursday before you send a follow up email. Also, explain to her that your schedule is filling up quickly.

I’m waiting to hear back from mine too and I’m giving them some leeway - it’s the dead center of peak wedding season and they are slammed, especially on the weekends. It might just be the same situation!
