Look online for local ones in your area and read reviews. We're going with a travel agent and met with him last week and he just sent an itinerary of the trip. We told him the cities we want to go to, what sites we want to see, and our vision for our honeymoon. He planned it all out and found awesome places for us to stay and things to do that I couldn't find when searching myself.

We haven't booked anything yet bc we're in the early stages of planning the honeymoon, but we're having a great experience so far. Highly recommend.

We went through AAA and used a travel agent through there. It was helpful, especially since
We were so busy with wedding details.
She did a lot of research for us, made suggestions, and booked our excursions. She gave us a specific plan if a flight was cancelled or there was a delay. It gave us some piece of mind and her suggestions were spot on

    Hey there, Natalia Smiley smile

Bali will be an amazing honeymoon destination Smiley love Have you or your FS been to Asia before?

There are so many benefits to using a travel agent for your honeymoon. They have specialized knowledge of destinations, they help you get the most out of your budget and offer assistance in cases of emergency. I would definitely encourage it. Check out this WeddingWire article which gives these benefits and more - Why Use a Travel Agent for Honeymoons & Destination Weddings. The peace of mind alone is the main benefit to me!

When it comes to finding one, the WeddingWire vendor directory lists travel agents you can browse by your location - Travel Agents.

I never used a travel agent but if you think you need one to help with your plan then find one near your area here in WW insert vendor list. They will be able to guide you.

You’re going to have a dreamy honeymoon in Bali!

We took our honeymoon to Bali and got a travel agent and wish we didn’t. We actually ended up booking a lot of it ourselves. With the internet having so many tools an agent isn’t all that helpful

Honestly we attempted AAA and it just wasn't working for me. I did all my own research and as much as I wished they were helpful they weren't. I booked Thailand myself and picked the hotel. I would explain what type of hotel I was wanting and the results just weren't it. She wasn't very helpful in terms of giving us overthemoon results so I didn't bother. I packaged my trip which saved us lots of money. Booked the airport transfer and travel insurance separately. Ended up with an affordable 5 star hotel. I don't think travel agents are as useful these days as we have the internet at our fingertips. Trip advisor helps a ton. Unless you're doing a touristy, multiple locations vacation that can be set up for you, I would consider looking up info yourself, especially since you're a year out.

The weather was perfect! We had a really good time! We went to Phuket as the beach was something we wanted rather than culture. Depends on your goals as far as relaxation or activities. We spent much of the time relaxing on the beach or hotel and did two excursions then went to Bangla Road which was a super fun party scene with lots of bars, clubs, and street food!
