Just Said Yes November 2021

To proceed or not due to Covid

For those who have been planning to get married in the fall in Florida are you proceeding with your normal plans? We have all the major things booked, sent save the dates and now it's time to send formal invites or just scrap everything and postpone. What is everyone else doing?

I live in south Florida and we’re supposed to be getting married in December. We also went sabe the dates and have been kind of stuck. Our venue has said as of now we’re only allowed 50 people in masks, and with temp check that will restrict anyone with an above 99.8 temperature. My fiancé and I are slowly planning accordingly but are ok with the idea of postponing as we have a guest list of 176. We also have decided that regardless how things go down, he and I will legally get married with our closest relatives in our anniversary in September. At the end of the day we want to marry each other, the wedding is just a bonus.

10/10 Bride here with a Destination Wedding in the Keys (we live in NC). We're moving forward with our plans, like you we're all booked but our guest count is at 50 (always has been and anticipating less). We will be sending the invites next week sometime. I"m not stressing, have faith it will all work out as planned.

I'm scheduled to get married on 10/03/2020. Right now I am giving it a few more weeks before sending out my invitations. Unfortunately with the uptick in cases, it's hard to say where we will be. But I am hoping and praying things will work out!

I'm not a fall bride but I'm a summer bride planning to get married in North Florida July 19. We're so close to our wedding date and with cases rising , we've had some guests now cancel that intended on coming. But it's seems too late to cancel now. We aren't sure what we're going to do.

Oh Courtney, I’m so sorry to hear. Is your venue okay with moving forward? My hope is that things will change for the better these next few weeks. It certainly takes the joy out of planning but you have little choice but to move forward and try to make the best of things. Please stay safe and keep us posted!!
