We are getting married Aug 2024 when should I send out the save the dates and when do I send out the invitations

Invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
Save the dates 4-6 months before, longer for a destination wedding.

Invitations no more than 6-8 weeks. Save the dates, I'd say 6-8 months out is ideal.

My opinion......send the save the date 📅 now.
That way....it gives the alert
