They accepted our house offer... a week too late.

Let's hope so! This time is ruining so many, what should be, happy times in someone's life! Who knows, maybe we will laugh about all of this someday.

That's so frustrating, Dierdra! Is there no way to get the paperwork signed remotely/via email? How extensive are the renovations you need done?

Regardless of the timeline interruptions, I hope you can enjoy the fact that your offer was accepted! Congrats on that!

Like Jo said, can you try to do it remotely? We just closed on our house about a week and a half ago, in Illinois. We have a stay at home order so we were limited in who could be in the room to sign the documents, but it was possible. We also never had to go to a courthouse, just a title company. Additionally, everything was signed electronically to accommodate the seller and us. It can be done!

Thank you ladies! We are so excited - its a full reno (which we love) but with all the free time right now it would be soo easy to start demo. I think I'm just too excited lol and feeling quite lazy!
