The Knot, Wedding Wire or Zola

I used the Knot for our site and registry! You basically link your registries through the app, then they update automatically. The layout is also super easy to use, and adding guests was also really straight forward.

I'm using the knot for my wedding website, I liked the designs better and also, I feel like my family/friends are more familiar with that website. I like going on wedding wire for the forums and for the seating chart. I use both websites though for checklists and looking at vendors. Didn't really care much for zola.

I used Zola for my wedding website. I found using it was super easy and allowed me a lot of creative flexibility. The main thing was how wonderful the Guest List/RSVP section was. I can see when people RSVP, and invite them to certain aspects of the wedding, such as telling certain people to stay late for wedding pictures. LOVE! Plus, you can order invites that match the website you made. I didn't do this, but I think that's a nice touch. Oh, and I am doing an all cash registry with ZOLA. No word yet on how that will go, but I like that it's all in one place.

I use WW mainly for the forum as well. I like the budget and planning features on this website though! The budget feature is the best on this website, in my opinion, with how detailed it is. Finding venues and other vendors is nice on this website because of the reviews and detailed pricing information.

I never used Knot to be honest... it never works on my browser, so there's that.

I use WW for the forums and The Knot for my website. There have been a few minor issues, but I see so many posts about WW websites malfunctioning that I do not regret using The Knot so far!

I'm actually mailing rsvp cards so I won't be using that resource on the knot. We did use the knot for our registry, we have a honeymoon fund and then a few items through target. It works great. We didn't want to have a ton of stuff on our registry since we prefer cash gifts to help with the honeymoon.

I’m using WW for forums only and Zola for the wedding site and guest info. I have seen people in here having a lot of issues with WW rsvp system and didn’t want that stress. Zola site options are more customizable and easier in my opinion than WW. Im not using a Zola registry and it’s very easy to implement my other registries in my Zola site. I’m not a huge fan of the knot because after finding vendors it’s just boring.

I liked the Zola website designs best, couldn't find the right style on ww or the knot. But I got hooked on ww forums and articles. The knot was good for the earliest stages of planning and a couple vendors and a thorough customizable checklist, but being close to the wedding, I rarely open the knots app. I come back to we because of the forums and noise the seating chart tool. I'm learning all these pieces as I go along. I like the rsvp feature and the website design on Zola but that's it. The registry page is annoying because they force their registry items front and center when my main focus is the bed bathand beyond registry.

Using Zola for our website but not registering through them (we linked our Amazon registry instead).

Never did Zola, but I have some friends who swear by it.

I'm using With Joy and I absolutely love it. I'm doing online rsvps, NO registry. RSVP tracking is awesome. You can group people together and alter your website in a way where guests can/cannot add plus ones or other guests. It's really useful, tracking is easy. Customization of your pages is super cool. They have a SUPER helpful customer service team who really helped me out. I'm super happy I chose With Joy.

So we moved to Zola for the website and registry! It works really well!

I've heard so many negative things about the WeddingWire websites so I decided against that. I tried Zola at first and wasn't a huge fan of their layouts, but what made me decide against it was their registry. They advertise that "you can register for everything through Zola" which is true, except everything registered through Zola is a lot more expensive than if you purchased it elsewhere, which was not the route I wanted to go for any guests who wanted to purchase a gift for us.

I ultimately decided on The Knot for multiple reasons. It was easy to use, a lot more options as far as personalizing our website, and the registry was what sold me. I was able to link our Amazon registry and because The Knot is partnered with Amazon through their "The Knot Gifts Back" program, The Knot will donate a percentage of every gift purchased off of our registry to the charity of our choice (we chose St. Jude's Children's Hospital). That alone was enough for me!

I use wedding wire for the forums and other planning aspects of the wedding. I love the planning tool and guest list/ seating chart on Wedding Wire. But for the website that has all the information on it, I used the Knot. It was rather easy to use and I also liked that I could have a privacy setting on it and then I just provided my guests with the password for it. The only problem I had with the Knot was the picture function on it, after we took engagement pictures I was trying to change the picture I originally had on our website; it was rather difficult to get it the way I wanted. But after taking a break and doing it again I was able to do what I wanted. I'm not the best when it comes to technology so it was probably more an error on me than the site. I will not be using the RSVP function on the Knot, we will be sending out cards for that.
