Thank you gift for shower hostess

Are you/did you get thank you gifts for your shower host/hostesses? I didn’t really think about it until now and my first shower is less than 2 weeks away. Each of our moms are graciously throwing us a shower. I was planning on giving the parents bigger gifts at the rehearsal dinner and of course writing them thank you cards for the showers. If I got them each a bottle of their favorite alcohol for the showers would that be enough?

Wine is perfect another sweet idea would be to have someone take a nice photo of you with the lovely hostesses at the shower and then give it to them framed the next time you see them (my mom loves photos).

What gift are you giving the hosts? I like the idea of the photo and nice thank you card but that would be after the fact.

I actually don't plan on giving the gift at the shower. I want to take them out for lunch after (I live near them so I see them pretty often) and then give a little token appreciation. But it s completely up to you. There are no rules! I think I saw it on here where a bride gave a really sweet bath and basket (think body lotions, bath bomb, bubble bath, candle etc) as thank you for the shower, I thought that was super clever!

My MOH is my shower hostess, I got her a nice necklace off etsy, and am planning to get her a bottle of wine which I got a personal label for to put on.

My mom hosted mine, and I wrote her a nice thank you note for throwing the shower and included a gift card to a restaurant she likes.
