Thank You Cards

Veronica, on March 15, 2021 at 6:26 PM Posted in Married Life 0 7
My husband and I's virtual baby shower is this weekend and I know a lot of couples have had to switch to virtual showers because of Covid. I'm wondering what the etiquette is for thank you cards. We live 4+ hours from everyone so we likely should have received things already if they were mailing stuff to us and we haven't really gotten much so I'm not what we do if someone didn't give us anything. Should we only send a thank you card if someone gave us a gift/money or would we also as send one just thanking them for participating?

I would only send thank you cards for gifts/money. No need to send thank you cards just for participating/attending

Thank you cards are typically for the gift itself, so if they don't give you a gift, I think you're fine to skip the thank you card.

You only thank those who sent gifts or money, plus the Hostesses of the virtual shower.

You send a thank you card for those who gave gifts/ money. A thank you for attending is nice but not required.

Agree with others. Send a physical thank you card only to those who gave you something physical (gift, check, cash) to welcome your baby.
