Tell me about your mini moon!

While we all dream of a honeymoon, sometimes a mini moon will have to do in the meantime!

We are getting married at the end of this month and have yet to plan even a mini moon due to FH taking a new (dream) job with a very unpredictable schedule! We therefore will most likely be planning a mini moon super last minute depending on how many days we can sneak away! I’m currently thinking of road tripping and staying two nights in Montreal and two nights in Quebec City! However I’m playing around with a few different ideas.

What are your mini moon ideas? How do you plan to do to make it short, sweet, and special!

Hi! We are getting married the Sunday before Christmas at an 1818 circa mansion, now turned Inn. We will mini moon with them until the day after Christmas. We'll go on a " honeymoon" later. It's a mini DW as it's 3 hours from home. So we'll be able to go back for special occasions.

We had a full week booked in Estes Park for the week after our wedding in August (we live close enough to Colorado that it's a short trip). I got a new job that starts the Monday after the wedding, so we had to cancel the full week and switched to a short weekend get away in September at the same place! With my fiancé also starting a new job and myself as a teacher, we're putting off the big honeymoon until next summer! I'm very thankful we're at least able to get away for a weekend. It will be so beautiful to be in Estes at that time of year and it will be so nice to just spend some time away from home with my hubby!

Our wedding is 02/01/2020. We are taking a mini moon to cabo for 4 days (only a 2 hour flight from us thankfully). Then going to take our “real” honeymoon May 2020 to bora bora.

Indianapolis for a few days. We are renting a B and B. A carriage house on these people’s property. But we get the whole carriage house to ourself plus the pool and hot tub. The do not do in pool and hot tub when they have guest. Out longer honeymoon is a cruise. We plan to keep busy on the cruise. So the mini moon will be nice and relaxing.

We went to Disney World! We flew (2 hr flight)so we could have more time there. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days. We went to Universal for a few hours one day, but otherwise no park time!
We ate a nice dinner, took naps/relaxed, sat in the hot tub, watched movies in the hotel room, shopped at downtown Disney . We just really enjoyed each others company for 3 day. We also got to put our wedding clothes back on to do a photo shoot in the park before it opened!
Our minimoon was A LOT of fun and I’m so glad we got to take those 3 days and be together. If you can’t go on a longer honeymoon right away and can take just a few days away, I recommend it!

We're staying at a fancy hotel in downtown Dallas, and that's about all I know so far ; ) I'm thinking we'll just have a lot of downtime to relax after the craziness of planning and the big day! I'm sure we'll just be having some good meals, exploring Dallas, and enjoying each other's company.

We’re having a mini honeymoon after our December 14th wedding. We’re going to fly down to Florida and go to Walt Disney. We choose this location because it was the place we’re we took our 1st trip together. We’re going in April for our big honeymoon.
