Surprise wedding!

Story time: My boyfriend of 9 years has always asked about marriage and I’ve always told him no because I have never wanted to get married. I wanted to do what married people do without being married and prove to everyone that we can do it and do it the smart and happy way lol. Well we did we both invested in properties separately. We traveled all over the world and our last trip of 2020 was to Bali where I decided I would propose to my boyfriend on his birthday. I planned a lot of romantic scenarios but in the end I was too nervous to do any of them. I couldn’t stop crying long enough to even get the words out. But I was able to spit out I want to get married, will you marry me lol of course he started crying and say yes a million times. We didn’t tell anyone and didn’t post anything. I told him I want to keep it a secret because I want to do a surprise wedding. He instantly was like HELL YEA! Our families know how I feel towards marriage and even our friends would never see it coming! So we decided for his next birthday we will throw a big gala night event but really it will be our wedding! We planned every single detail with our day of coordinator which was a MUST since we were doing this all alone. We recorded a video that will be played during cocktail hour to reveal what they’re really there for! We hid in our suites the entire time. I was with my grandma who I flew in from puertorico, which my mom hasn’t seen her in 2 years. My fiancé was in his suite with his best friend (officiant) & our dog (ring bearer duh).. the 2 minute video played and everyone went crazy screaming that we could hear them in our suites lol. My mom was brought immediately to my suite for our first look and hid my grandMa in the bathroom. Even before she walked in she was crying 🥰 so once our hug was over I told her keep it together for a little longer I have another surprise and she looked at me so confused. The door opened and my grandma came out. She screamed like a baby! Now us 3 are crying like little babies and then I tell my mom that I want both of them to walk me down the aisle. Of course more and more tears. We made our way downstairs to begin the ceremony. As soon as we all walked in everyone was screaming and crying. My brothers and sisters all lost it when they saw my grandma and me in a wedding dress lol. My step dad was placed in the middle of the aisle to receive me and have our first look. He cried so hard and loud that I couldn’t keep it together. Now he handed me off to my fiancé. My sister and his brother were called up before we entered as the maid of honor and best man. We wanted them up there with us❤️ We have video reactions of everything. Let me know if you guys would like to see it.
