Suits

I would love to hear back from brides whose grooms rented suits as to how the rental suits fit, if they looked sloppy, and if you regret not purchasing versus renting. The groom doesn’t really need another suit especially in Navy. If he was to use his current suit at home then the best man’s suit would in no way match in color and fabric and that does not appeal to me. So we’re renting which is about 200 bucks versus 5 to 600 buying. We’re going with Jim’s formalwear because they have a longer rental period, which helps us out since were leaving to drive out of state to the wedding. Best man has health issues so running around to different places to purchase suits like Men’s Wearhouse isn’t really realistic. He is in Long Beach which isn’t really near many of the big chain stores. With this rental he can just go down the street a few days before the wedding to pick it up. I guess the best man could rent the suit and we could buy it. I’m just debating whether I should spend the money just to be relieved on how it fits. I am after all spending a ton of money on altering my bridal dress and on a photographer so I hate for the groom and the best man to look sloppy. Thank you so much! My Understanding is that these days rentals are much nicer than they were years ago.
