Spring Portland Maine Wedding

Nicole, on November 12, 2019 at 12:47 PM Posted in Maine Planning 0 1

Hi All!

Getting SUPER excited but SUPER anxious about our Spring wedding in Maine. We are still on the hunt for a venue. Looking for fairly inexpensive (it's okay if there's a lot of DIY!) near (ish) to the Old Port. We realize this is a lofty goal... but there have to be brides or grooms out there with fabulous leads! Okay with seperate (cheap) ceremony location so we can put a little more of our budget toward a fun venue.

More Info

- Guests will likely be in the 175-200 range.

-Looking for warehouse/modern meets rustic/unique spaces

-Fell in LOVE with Brick South but the cost was REALLY high and we just cannot justify

-Really like The Public Works... unsure if we can swing that cost since we will have to find another ceremony location.

-We prefer places that will allow us to cater/bring in food trucks

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Nicole Smiley smile

Have you checked out the WeddingWire vendor directory as part of your search? You can filter by different venue types, along with city, amenities, etc. - Portland Wedding Venues.

It can be difficult to find a venue which allows you to bring your own caterer due to liability concerns. In this case, I advise couples to speak with their chosen caterer and see what venues they’ve catered at before. This is a great way to find some that allow external vendors. Have you picked a caterer yet?
