So Cal brides,

Are most of you guys still having your wedding this year or have pushed it off? Especially with what our gov has said. Hubby and I haven't watched Gav Newsom since we postponed for next Summer. Last I heard Riverside County is lifting and we are at Phase 3?

Northern Cali/Central Cali Brides:

I don't discriminate lol. How have things been like in your county/surrounding counties as well?

I am in the Central Valley and we postponed our reception to next year and are doing a small ceremony outside at our church. We are still in the purple tier and I don’t see it changing in 2 weeks. We are just making the best of the situation.

So Cal here. We postponed our reception for next November, but had a small, intimate ceremony this morning with parents and siblings in attendance.

I'm in northern CA, getting married in El Dorado county and they just moved out of the red tier and into the orange. I am planning full steam ahead with my original plans, just with the covid precautions. And we cut or guest list down to 25 people and will be livestreaming for the other guests that we had to cut. We've been very grateful for all of our vendors still being on board, especially our venue. I know each bride has a different situation though. Hope things work out for you and your wedding! ❤️

That's good to hear! I'm glad everything has been working out and seems well planned! Thank you! We're already went to the courthouse 2 years ago, so our wedding is supposed to be huge (less than 100 ppl) for family and friends. I believe things will work out for what it's ment to happen in the end!

Hi Theadra! Thank you. Even though it wasn’t the original plan (and was actually Plan E), it was perfect. We’re located in Orange County. Where are you?

We were being forced to postpone but being adamant that we get married both cuz our date is special to us and because we are in our 30's and want to start the next phase of our lives together, I.e. buying a house, having kids. of course there is no order but everything else has fallen into place so we wanted to keep the structure of when we had planned to accomplish certain things.

Sooo... we have decided to have a small intimate wedding (17 guests) just our families and best friend each. we will be having a "regular" wedding dances, cake, food, etc but with only our closest people as a garden wedding not at a venue.

Should have mentioned we are So. Cal. San Diego county to be exact.
