Sound & Lighting Costs Lake Como, Italy

Hi! I’m also getting married in Italy. I haven’t received our exact quote yet for lights but I think 14k sounds really expensive!! I’m planning to spend closer to 3k probably. We’ll see what they come back with for us.

Are you doing any special in regards to lights and sound? Like is the entire villa being lit up? If not, that seems super expensive. I would ask around for another quote or two to compare prices and figure out the average in the area.

That sounds overly priced. I would look at other options

I’m An Italian bride too and even though we’re not at lighting yet I would definitely be dumb struck by that figure. Was this someone the venue or your wedding planner (if you have one) recommended?!

What does that include? It seems very high but if you’re lighting up the entire outside of the villa, stringing lights through hundreds of trees and so on, it might not be so bad.

I'm also getting married in Lake Como next May 2022 Congratulations! Our sound & lighting budget came in around 8,000 EURO for a 50 person wedding.

Curious if you were limited to one vendor for these items? This seems to be the case with about 80% of the venues we looked at...in turn, this vendor has a monopoly of sorts on weddings at como villas. I'm happy to share our quote with you too!

Hi! I'm also getting married in Lake Como September 2023. We have 66 people so far and our lighting quote from Blunotte Eventi (sp?) was around 3000euro. That being said, our lighting scene was simple because the venue already has string lights. Our quote included floating lights in the pool and lanterns.

Hi Angelica, sorry only seeing this now. 14k for sound and lights is really astronomical, do you have special requirements that might be driving the price exponentially. Perhaps a future bride may see this and save a deposit for a house. I have been gigging for over 2 years and that kind of sound and lighting budget is reserved for the full day price for all the staff, staging etc for a small outdoor festival which covers all the bands and technicians too but not a wedding.

I have been gigging for over 20 years and that kind of sound and lighting budget is reserved for the full day price for all the staff, staging etc for a small outdoor festival which covers all the bands and technicians too but at a wedding that kind of pricing would need to be very specialist and specific.
We have a 5 piece band and we supply all the sound and lighting that is required for a Live Band and DJ, including battery powered sound and light options with no wires. String lights for the venue are often already included in the venue hire cost.

Hi! The venue I'm looking into is partnered up with Blunotte Eventi as well. Does your 3000euro include a DJ? or just the lights? My partner and I are trying to find rates from the company to see if it fits our budget. Thanks!

Update: So I had the wedding and it ended up costing 24,000 euros not including the VAT tax, band, or DJ. We negotiated back and forth and this was their best offer. This was Blunotte and it was very frustrating.

Hello I am also getting married in Lake Como in 2023, would you all be willing to share how much you are getting quoted for lightening and sound. Does it depend on the size of the wedding? we are expecting around 100 people. We just got ours back and it seems pretty astronomical. Any feedback would be great.

We’re getting married on Lake Como as well and Blunotte is the exclusive provider. Sent us a 24K quote for equipment alone, excluding performers. Any tips on negotiating with them? It’s an obvious ripoff for several speakers, but I imagine knowing they have the exclusive they won’t budge.

Do you have the Blunotte pricing for music options/performers also? Or just the equipment. We are getting married in 2024 and they won't send out quotes until 2023 is over, but I am trying to estimate things to start arranging different budget allotments
