Song help

Kayla, on January 28, 2024 at 9:03 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 3
We are doing all of the traditional dances at our wedding (mother/son, father/daughter), but my grandpa was the person who would have walked me down the aisle and who I would have shared this dance with. Unfortunately, he passes away before this was able to happen. The next important male on my life to “give me away” is my little cousin (he’s 11). I’m having a hard time deciding on a song for us to dance to. Any suggestions?

Personally, I would probably skip the “father/daughter” dance at that point. Or maybe do mother/daughter? I wouldn’t personally try to shoehorn a “male figure” in the way of an 11 year old cousin just to have it, unless you truly want to dance with your cousin.

Does your cousin want to do the dance? He has a say in this too. If he's not interested, I wouldn't push it
