Song help — bridesmaids entry, our exit

Andrea, on November 17, 2023 at 2:21 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 1
I’m trying to piece together music for my ceremony in January. We’re generally playing instrumental, slightly geeky music as the pre-ceremony seating music. I found a lovely piano/cello version of Pachbel’s Canon in D for my entry. But I still have two major songs to choose — my bridesmaids processional and then our exit song.

I found a piano version of I See the Light from Tangled I’m thinking of for the bridesmaids, but I’m not 100% sure about it. For our exit, I’ve been toying with I’m a Believer or Walking on Sunshine. (My evil side suggested Never Gonna Give You Up and Rick-rolling the whole audience. 😆) I want something sweetly romantic for the bridesmaids and upbeat for our exit.
Does anyone have any good suggestions? What did you use?

My husband and I walked out to an instrumental version of a Beach Boys song. I thought it was sweet and slightly upbeat. The song had meaning to us as well. I’d choose something that you both like and means something special to both of you.

For bridesmaids entrance, maybe an instrumental of “count on Me” by Bruno mars? “For good” from wicked soundtrack? Or “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrandt’s?
