Hi, I’m a bride to be that isn’t all thrilled about a huge wedding with the fancy dress and the lavish party. I want to keep it very intimate with not very many people. Everything Is super overwhelming and I just want it to be simple. I also don’t want to get married at the courthouse. I’m looking for ideas from Brides or brides to be on a simple wedding in New Mexico. I’ve looked online and on here and everything is so over the top!!

Hi Rachel! Maybe you can look into a private room at a restaurant, your local parks and recreation centers, or even a small ranch! I've also seen couples host smaller-sized ceremonies at the backyards of their homes! Our venues section is a great place to search for venues in general. Where in NM are you? I almost booked casa vieja in Corrales. Its small and intimate. I also looked at Albuquerque Garden Center. Both were reasonable on price too.

We’re getting married at Neptune Studios and doing their “micro” wedding. Literally just having our kids and maybe 4 guests.
