Simple Braided Hairstyles

It looks like your wedding is over a year and a half away! I would wait until much closer to worry about the hairstyle. Most people start hair trials 2-4 months before the wedding (although you will want to go ahead and book a hairstylist much earlier- I’d suggest a year in advance). Chances are, you going to change your mind 10 times between now and November 2024 LOL No use wasting time (both yours and the stylist’s), money or energy on it now.

I already have my hairdresser booked, she's also doing it for free 😊. I'm not going by the normal time frames, that'll just cause to much stress. I'm wanting to have all my planning done before the end of the year so all I have to worry about next year is paying off everything and making my venue floral arrangements (making myself), and plan for our honeymoon which we'll be taking end of January or early February 2025. I hate leaving everything to the last minute (wedding wise, at least 6 months before date), it took me just over a year to find my bridesmaid dresses and shoes.

View Quoted Comment That’s great that you found your bridesmaids dresses and shoes; however, I would definitely warn against purchasing anything this early! You may change your mind completely on what you want. And your girls may change significantly in shape in the next year and a half (gain weight, lose weight, get pregnant, etc.). I would suggest keeping your ideas for your BMs in mind, and revisit them 6-8 months before the wedding.


As far as hair, I would start looking through hairstyles on Instagram and/or Pinterest about 6 months before your wedding. Make a Pinterest board of your favorite styles and share it with your stylist.
