Silver Lining: Plan b for Postponing

Fenja, on April 7, 2020 at 8:12 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3

My wedding is set for June 27th, 2020. So far we have not decided to postpone, BUT we have started to develop a Plan B. We have a new date in December this year that would be our new wedding date in case we have to postpone.
Don’t get me wrong, I am devastated about the thought of having to postpone my dream June wedding, BUT I also started to kind of get excited about possible benefits.
- FH and I love Christmas so a winter/Christmas wedding would be the perfect way to sooth the pain about postponing
- I started a second folder on Pinterest with ideas for a Christmas wedding
- FH and I still want to get legally married on June 27th and now I have an excuse to look for a nice dress for a court house wedding

What are some things you are getting excited about in the midst of all this craziness? Let's share the little things! Smiley heart

Literally same! We were supposed to be getting married on June 27th, 2020 but have postponed to December 12, 2020!

    1. We LOVE the new date of 12/12/20

    2. Christmas weddings are beautiful and we were using jewel tones anyway!!

    3. It won't be hot and there should be no bugs.

    4. We moved our ceremony indoors to a beautiful room with a large stone fireplace so we can have it decorated and not worry about weather.

    5. We can celebrate with our family and friends without social distancing and fear.

That's awesome!! I also have colors that would fit in December (burgundy, emerald, and white).
