Hello fellow Michigan brides! We live in such a beautiful state, with all sorts of places to have a beautiful wedding and reception. I'd love to see some pictures of your venue

here are the photos of mine. It's a community center, so right now it's pretty basic I know. I've got some great ideas to make it more special than it already is. It's the place Rob and I first met at back in 1985 at a dance. It's a sentimental and very affordable choice. We're doing both our ceremony and our reception here

Pretty basic because I have a very low budget. Nothing fancy...definitely not what i'd always envisioned, but I have the dream guy

Just a knights of Columbus hall, but it will accommodate our 400 guests invited. The inside is beautiful though.

Nothing wrong that! We looked into those, eagles clubs, UAW halls, VFWs. we were open to all of them. We got lucky with the community center, someone had cancelled that day and it's where we really wanted

We're getting married at the Ren Cen, in the 42 North Ballroom. The ceremony will be on the patio outside, and the reception will be inside.

You can't see it in these photos, but the Ambassador Bridge is visible from the ballroom, to the right of where the photos end.ballroom

We are getting married at the boathouse at boy pointe inn on gun lake. It includes a Friday- Monday stay in the house for 15 people so we will be making a small family vacation out of it

My venue is The Grecian Center in Southgate. Ceremony will be outside under the pavilion and the fountain is off to the side, reception in the Apollo Room. It's absolutely gorgeous

I love that place. I've been there several times for different things. I'm in Flat Rock, and our venue is in Woodhaven. I hope your wedding is beautiful!
