Show me your bridesmaid dresses/inspo!

I plan on doing a mix of light blues:


Similar to these. I plan on looking at a ton of swatches from various places (azazie, revelry, birdy grey, kennedy blue) to make sure i find a good shade mix (dresses will be able to fit any budget or style!). I will then put all of the colors on a note card and give everyone a card (and a digital copy in case they lose the card) and ask them to send me a screenshot when they buy the dress (just so that if it takes a while to ship, we can keep track together and we have proof). Is this process all necessary? I want to make sure everyone gets their dresses on time and can get any alterations needed, but I don't want to be too controlling

Too controlling, IMO. Your bridesmaids are adults who should be responsible and trusted to order their dress on time and to keep track. Allowing your party to choose from range of colors and styles that work best for them and their budget is very considerate, though.

I gave my bridesmaids a color swatch and told them to match it and have something long. They all ended up with something they felt beautiful in.

View Quoted Comment That does sound too controlling. Your bridesmaids are (presumably) adults and should be trusted to handle getting a dress. Mine all let me know on their own when their dresses arrived.
