Should i wear a veil? Help please!

Grace, on May 11, 2020 at 1:21 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 13
I am having a REALLY hard time deciding if I should wear a veil, and if so what style I should wear. My dress has a beautiful back that I want to show but I am also undecided on how I am going to wear my hair.

Help!!!
Here are photos of the dress:Should i wear a veil? Help please! 1

I have red, wavy hair that is just past my shoulders. I am almost certain I want to wear it up but style is TBD.
Any suggestions or advice is appreciated!

I would just wear a simple 1 tier veil.

Thanks, Molly. Any suggestions on length? I know I don't want a train but anything past that is a bit of a mystery.

You're welcome. I would go with fingertip length.

I would say, go for a floor length.

LOVE your dress, it's gorgeous! I also wanted to show off the back of my dress so I chose to skip the veil and instead I'm wearing my hair up but in a low bun style and bought and hair comb from Etsy as my accessory because I wanted my hair to feel special and bridal

I loved wearing a veil. I didn't have a big emotional moment when I tried on my wedding dress, but I totally did when I tried on a veil. This is the one I wore

You could still see the back of my dress through the veil, and I took the veil off for the reception so then it really got to be shown off.

I think a chapel or cathedral length veil almost always looks best, including with your dress. If it is simple and sheer, the back of your dress will be visible through it anyway. And if you take the veil off for the reception, everyone will be able to admire the back of your dress then too.

Another good option! Thanks for the input. What type of comb are you wearing?
