Should i Tan???

Star, on July 26, 2019 at 4:22 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 6
I have an indoor job and work over full time a week so don’t have very much time to tan naturally. I can go to the tanning beds and probably tan more quickly however the ones here in town/nearby are not only expensive but also hard to schedule in since they’re usually only open when I’m at work. Got a spray tan one time and it was a terrible experience but I do know of one girl that does it rather well nearby for a decent price. Should I still get that spray tan though and risk it not only potentially rubbing off on clothes but also that she won’t do it well with me? Maybe I’m just over worrying 🤣. Would I look fine without a tan or should I try and go for it since it’s my wedding day??

If you really want to look tan - I say go for it! I would definitely schedule a test run first though in case it turns out badly. Spray tans usually wear off in 3-4 weeks (some may be longer) so give yourself enough wiggle room!

There's nothing wrong with pale skin. I'm not the kind of person that thinks that you need to tan to look good on your wedding day, or any day really. If looking darker makes you feel more confident, I would go try out the spray tan that you mentioned sometime soon. Wear white clothes, sweat, do normal things and see if it rubs off on your clothes. Don't wait until your wedding to test it out and definitely don't put your health at risk just for one day.

I would say not to tan. Non tanned skin is just as beautiful and if it's in a tanning bed or sprayed is not real any way. You get tan from being outdoors if that's not your life right now that's okay be you.

I'm pale. I didn't tan. I didn't want to look like a different person. If you really want to be tan, do a trial with the girl you know. That way you're not SOL on your wedding day.

I am like platinum white and do not tan at all! My two shades consist of platinum and tomato so I will not be tanning for my wedding. I attempted to go to the tanning beds but I was paying too much money and not seeing any results, as far as spray tan I've had one and it was horrible so I won't be doing that again plus I live in Houston so it is always sticky outside and I would sweat and ruin it. You could try self tanner if that is an option.

I hate spray tans, and the skin cancer risk from tanning beds isn't worth it to me. I lather up the sunscreen, and stay inside quite a bit. But I have already had suspicious moles removed, so I don't risk it. All skin colors are beautiful!
