I'm team short hair! I grew out my pixie 3/4 of a year so I could curl it old Hollywood style, and then pinned behind one ear so essentially became assymetrical. I placed a veil high on my head for the ceremony, but nothing for reception. I was so hot with that veil on my back. I wore dangling earrings. I suggest looking at non-wedding pics for hair inspo. I tried Pinterest and asking at bridal salons but I didn't like any of the advice about headbands or other tricks. Good luck.

I would just ask your stylist for a slightly more glam version of your regular style and then have fun with a headpiece or sparkly combs/pins. I do think short hair can look fabulous with a fascinator and birdcage veil, if that fits your style.

With an assym bob, you could have a LOT of fun doing finger waves for a chic vintage look. I'd probably top it off with a fascinator, especially because it plays into the short cut your FH loves already. Otherwise, if the ceremony is a bit more relaxed, you can soften up the look with some beachy waves around your face. Also, if you are interested in a longer veil, look into juliet caps. They look super gorgeous with short vintage styles. Hope this helps!

This is actually my second wedding and I wore a fascinator at my first, and I regret not wearing a traditional veil. So I want to try to incorporate a veil into my look this time. I like the Juliet cap idea! Thanks!
