Shoe Game Questions

Sharonda, on February 22, 2021 at 4:59 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4

The Shoe Game is quite a popular game at wedding receptions these days, especially with brides and grooms trying to determine entertainment options due to COVID restrictions (i.e., no dancing) in some areas.

My husband and I played the Shoe Game at our wedding, and it was quite funny (especially when he made up his own rules by holding up both shoes to answer one question). We asked pretty standard questions, but we did add a different element to the game -- for each question we answered differently (where he held up my shoe and I held up his and vice versa), we had to explain our answers. Our guests got a kick out of hearing our reasons for the different answers.

Do you and your significant other plan to play the Shoe Game? If so, what questions are you planning to have asked -- any unique or interesting ones? Are there any variations of the game you plan to implement?

I’m planning on playing the shoe game 😊 I asked DJ’s about it when interviewing them and so many were shocked to hear someone ask about it. I’m planning on making questions that pertain to us.

We got married in 2019 and rather than the Shoe Game we did a trivia game. Guests received a questionnaire with questions about my husband and I. They filled it out then after dinner they came onto the dance floor and the DJ read the question. If they got the question wrong, they went back to their seat. The last ten people got a prize. Some questions had multiple answers like favorite color and they just had to know either mine or my husband's favorite color. Others had one answer like where we met. It was a lot of fun and a great way to include our guests. They seemed to enjoy it as well.
