Shoe color to go with champagne bm dress??

I think a nude color would work well with that. It’s what I had my bridesmaids wear with their dresses (they were blue though, not champagne like yours). It’s a safe color that’s neutral, goes with almost anything, there's lots of options at many different stores, and they’ll also be more likely to keep them afterwards and not feel like they had to spend money on a shoe color they may never wear again.

I wouldn't try to dictate a show color that is not already owned by many women or likely to be worn again. I'd tell them that either gold or nude are fine.

No one will notice or care what the shoes look like even with the slit in the dress. Let them wear whatever they wish. Not everyone wears nude/skin tone shoes so asking them to purchase a pair should be an expense you cover.

I think gold would go better than blue. I told my bridesmaids they could choose whatever shoe they were most comfortable in as I know you can’t see shoes much in pictures or in general and didn’t regret it. They looked great!
