I just picked up my dress (that came in just two weeks after I ordered it!!!) and I didn't think it was possible, but I love it even more than when I bought it! It's a little big actually (what a great feeling) but being able to see what the dress is SUPPOSED to look like on me was an AMAZING feeling today. Consultants always do their best, and mine crushed it, but you can only do so much with a couple of Bungie cords.

and here's MY dress before alterations!Share your Yes Day vs First Fitting! 👗 2I'm completely obsessed with the back. Due to the size of the sample before, I was just sort of trusting that the back was cute. And instead the back is perfect.
Share your Yes Day vs First Fitting! 👗 3The straps need taken up and the sides need taken in but it's completely wonderful and I'm so in love. It's amazing to see what the lace is supposed to look like on a dress designed to be your size, and to see what the cups are supposed to do for your girls.
What about your dress??? What was different about YOUR dress versus your sample??

    Awww, how lovely! Your dress is beautiful - the lace details are so pretty!

    Here is mine the day I bought it - the sample was a size down from what I bought, which didn't properly fit in the bust, and probably only fit in the waist because it was stretched out.

    Aaaand at my first proper fitting - she'd added sleeves, but hasn't yet done the alterations to the body, just pinned. I am hoping to make the skirt bigger like it was when I bought it!

    Rosie, this is completely and utterly perfect 😭😭 I've always loved dresses like this. Deceptively simple but stunning in every way. This neckline is beautiful on you, and I can't wait to see it when it's exactly the way you want it!!!

    Aww thank you so much! I really wanted a classic, timeless dress where the fabric, cut and silhouette is the dramatic element. I’m so impatient to see how it turns out!

    Pictures with my hair up are from the day I said “yes” (I had a hair/mu trial the same day. Pics with my hair down are just from the dress viewing (1st alterations aren’t until end of January). It’s amazing what a difference just having the correct size makes, especially in the bust lol.
