For my fall wedding in November, I didn't want to use orange, yellow, and brown earthy tones that are more popular/familiar with the season, I wanted to do a more romantic and moody version! My color palette ultimately stemmed from darker colors associated with fall and spooky things. I debated burgundy or red for bridesmaid dresses, but I chose plum for bridesmaid dresses (because I don't see that often) and really went from there with the moody romance theme - adding other shades of purple, burgundy/reds, white, and gold elements to also compliment the venue space. I wanted a moody/spooky feel but something still a bit elevated - I joking refer to it as a grown up goth wedding. I've attached a mix of some inspiration and some things I had worked on so far!

since we are getting married at a venue in ga that overlooks the lake everyone including myself will be wearing cowgirl and cowboy boots.

My wedding colors are wine/burgundy with gold and champagne.

Love it! And overlooking a lake sounds beautiful! Is the area surrounded by trees that will be changing colors during your ceremony?

My wedding is on October 19th of this year 😊 color scheme we are going for is less stereotypical fall but very fitting of our venue we feel. Going to be doing green with a little bit of gold as our theme is forest fantasy. This is our wedding venue and mushroom decor which we had someone from Facebook DIY for us. ❤️

For my November wedding, I'm having a burgundy and gold color scheme, but what I'm really excited about is the pumpkin flavored wedding cake!

I am doing Merlot dahlias with cream roses and olive branches for flowers. Invites will have a harvest theme color to them with a single olive branch.

Dahlias are my absolute favorite flowers! I used them in my bouquet when we attempted to get married last Fall (long story, haha!), and plan to use them again this Fall when we finally make it legal! Do you have any pictures/inspo pictures of your bouquet?

The venue space is a country club that has a lot of white, gold, and wooden details, lots of outdoor greenery and plants!

My wedding is 10/7/23 and we are doing light blue/black colors. The girls are wearing black knee/floor length dresses and the guys are wearing light blue long sleeve dress shirts with khaki pants and the groom is wearing royal/dark blue suit. The decor is mostly light blue/white.
