September Honeymoon: Puerto Vallarta, Tulum, or Cozumel?

Hi! My fiancé and I are getting married on the first weekend in September. Our honeymoon will follow that next week. We would like to head to an all-inclusive in Mexico. We have a discount for resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Tulum and Cozumel. Need hep recommending where to go. We are extremely worried about going in such a rainy/hurricane time of year for Mexico. Has anyone visited these places before and know about the weather? Also does anyone know if Puerto Vallarta is tropical? Would prefer to go somewhere Tropical as we live in dry Colorado.

Here are the resorts we are looking at:

Puerto Vallarta - Dreams Bay Resort and Spa

Puerto Vallarta - Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Resort and Spa

Tulum - Dreams Resort and Spa

Cozumel - Secrets Aura Resort and Spa

    I've been to Puerto Vallarta and Tulum both a couple of times-not to those resorts though. I have been in Oct, Nov and Jan. I personally think Tulum is the best out of the two. It's a lot less populated and the beaches are pure white sand! I loved it there and wouldn't hesitate to go back

    I grew up going to Puerto Vallarta often as my mom was born near there. September is VERY rainy, wet and humid. It's also peak hurricane season, so there's a chance you could get caught in a hurricane, in which case, everything near the beach will be closed.
