September 2020 brides - what are we thinking?

I live in Arizona but used to live in Virginia and will have my wedding there. My fiancé and I are planning to go on as normal but our wedding will only have up to 50 people anyway. Our wedding is for September 6th.

First things first, I recommend that you call or email your venue and see how they're handling September events. Things are changing daily, so keeping the lines of communication open is important. That way, you can make decisions in a timely fashion.

Hi Julie! We're scheduled (for the second time) to have our wedding on September 19, 2020, and yes, I'm definitely feeling the strain as our date approaches! My fiance finally said, "Enough", the other day, after hearing that the governor was rolling back some safety measures, due to Hampton Roads (where we live) being a hot spot for Covid. If this is cancelled one more time, we're going to try and get back as much money as we can from our vendors and do a vow renewal some time later.
Funny, I was having a problem the week before that, feeling unsure about whether or not we could make the wedding as great as expected with only half our guests and all the safety measures, but now that the threat of losing it all, looming over our heads, I am even more determined to make this wedding a fantastic event for our family.
