Secrets vs Sandals

SO....we always envisioned ourselves honeymooning on a cruise to Alaska, but we are realizing we won't be able to get that much time off near the wedding. We are looking at having a short honeymoon of many 3 nights 4 days after our June wedding. We both fly for airlines and have Caribbean overnights frequently so we never saw the Caribbean as a honeymoon destination but it sure is convenient for a short honeymoon option. Have any of you stayed at Sandals or Secrets? I'm researching reviews and most seem torn, I'm leaning more towards Secrets but I would love to save some money if Sandals is just as good.

    I've been to a Sandals resort once, and we're honeymooning at one in July. I loved it and knew without a doubt I'd do it again for our honeymoon. I've never done Secrets though, and I don't know anyone who has, so I don't have anything helpful there.

    Hey Amanda! I've heard great things about both!! I know that Sandals is definitely catered more towards honeymoons and romantic getaways! Secrets is adults only as well but I feel like Sandals has a bunch of fun packages, if that's what you are looking for! I don't think you can go wrong with either resort!

    I think we are going to be doing Secrets as well! TBH I've heard more positive things about Secrets than Sandals. It seems like a bit of a mixed bag, so I know it's hard to decide if it is worth it, but check our ratings on TripAdvisor and I think you'll be fine!
