Save the dates and invites

Alyssa, on November 9, 2022 at 6:21 AM Posted in Planning 0 14
Where did everyone purchase their save the dates and/or wedding invites? I know Ann's bridal bargains is talked about. Just wondering if there's any that are cheaper or another site in the same price range?

So far I'm not impressed with minted, shutterfly, and zazzle. We just need basic/plain single card and envelop. RSVP cards are not needed.

Hit post too early. But I'd love to see some examples of your Save the dates that did not use your photo. Thanks!

On Etsy, they have templates that you can buy, really cheap, if you wanted to buy the card stock and make them yourself. I saw them when I was looking for a template to make my guest name cards, we got our save the dates from zazzle.Save the dates and invites 1

That's my save the date and invitation both from zazzle.

Our Save The Dates and invites were both ordered from different shops on Etsy! Pricing was very decent on both. Here is the stock photo of what our wooden magnet Save The Dates looked like (those aren't our names/date):

Here is the stock photo of the design we chose for our invites (again, not our names/date, but the design is the same):Save the dates and invites 6

I looked on easy but nothing all I found was actual paper ones, not the template. Maybe I'll have better luck on a desktop and not mobile. Lol

If you buy just the template you can easily have them printed at an Office Depot or Staples. That's what we did. It was fast and way cheaper. For save the dates, I got them from VistaPrint. Ours did have a photo on it though. I got our invitations from The American Wedding.

We had a friend laser etch our save the dates (designed by my mom) on plywood that my fiancé then sealed and I put magnets on the back. I designed our invitations and printed via zazzle. Used my cricut to address the envelopes

My fiancé and I bought the invitation box kits from hobby lobby so it’s done how we want it. Saving us money.

Got ours from zazzle however I absolutely hate them now. I’m ordering new ones from Etsy. Etsy has some very unique invitations.

How do they work? Are they blank cards and then you print on them yourself?

Yes, they are blank cards and there is a downloadable templates that you can find the perfect wording to on hobbylobby.com website. Select the card stock that you go with, and look for at the bottom of that specific page, for the downloadable template for that specific invitation.
