Sandals Negril Jamaica Reviews and General Honeymoon Decision Help! :)

snaphappy86, on January 2, 2009 at 2:49 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6

I was wondering if anyone could give me a review on Sandals Negril. My fiance and I have been thinking an all-inclusive Jamaica honeymoon would be amazing, but there are so many other amazing options, like Mexico, Costa Rica, and Hawaii for example. Ahh, we are so confused! Any honeymoon ideas you guys have? This is what we want an all-inclusive beach resort with lots of options for activities, food, and entertainment. We are not settled on Jamaica. Our honeymoon budget is 4,000-5,000 including airfare, and we would like to be gone for at least a week. Any help you guys can give me would be wonderful! Smiley smile We like the idea of the rich music culture in Jamaica, so live music really appeals to us!

I'm Costarican and to be completely honest, the country is just wonderful. I'm not saying this because I'm from there, but the people are super friendly and loving and I'm sure you'll have a great time. Not only can you go visit the mountains, kayak, mountain bike riding, but you can enjoy the beach and rent a horse and enjoy the beauty (not to mention the amazing wildlife!!!). I will recommend looking at hotels around Manuel Antonio National park. It's gorgeous out there!

    Good luck!

Oh and if you visit Limon, CR,...you'll find yourself in Jamaica. It's a great place and people are really laid back and they speak broken english. Their ancestors are jamaican...so it's like lil jamaica (my family is from there)

My co-worker SWEARS by Sandals Resorts and goes every year...there's only 4 locations I think and it's supposed to be very affordable..as a matter of fact, she said the trip to St. Lucia costs about $3000.00, minus airfare and to leave your wallet at home!! Apparently, everything else is covered! Though fh would be interested but he says it's too traditional.

Sandals Resorts are wonderful. The best is in St Lucia not just the resort the island is very pretty it is considered the Hawaii of the Caribbean. As for Jamaica the Whitehouse is the one I like for a honeymoon it is secluded and very romantic. Sandals Ocho Rios Grande is the least expensive of all of them. They just open the Sandals in Exuma, Bahamas in January of this year. Sandals is always running sales of 55-65% off the resorts. I am a sandals Prefereed.
