Sandals Grande St. Lucia Honeymoon?

I can't help with this but I will be watching this because FH and I were also considering this place! Hope the response is positive

Dang. i just asked my boss because i thought she said she'd went to a sandals resort in st. lucia so i went to ask her which one. she went to a sandals resort in the bahamas and said she WANTED to go to st. lucia. haha.

anyways, she said the one she went to the in the bahamas was great. she loved it so much she said it was probably one of her favorite vacations she's been on.

we booked 7 nights at sandals in antigua for our honeymoon.

My FIL's went there. It was nice and they enjoyed themselves but they felt it was overpriced for what it was. There are a couple of other sandals resorts in St Lucia that are a bit cheaper.... We are going to the Rendezvous.

I stayed at La Toc a few months ago, and visited both the Grand and Halycon. Depending on what you are looking for in a honeymoon would depend on if the Grand is the perfect choice!

I would recommend going through a travel agent! There's no fee to use them and they can give you personal/professional recommendations and answer all your questions.

My co-worker just came back from there! he said it was good but they upgraded for the ocean view room and it was so small it wasn't worth it. he would have rather had more floor space to walk around in the room than the ocean view. he also said he had been to other sandles resorts that had better restaurants, but they weren't that bad.

He liked Antigua and Bahamas better

Thank you! We already talked to a travel agent. A lot of them work with Sandals and push their resorts. I am trying to get opinions from brides that have actually been there for their honeymoon or vacation. I have looked at a lot of reviews, but I am just not 100% sure.

I have been to every Sandals resort (except the new Barbados which is just opening) and I am always happy to offer my expertise and knowledge, it would be my pleasure. First off let me start by saying that I have traveled to, planned and booked many happy honeymoon couples to many resorts throughout the Caribbean and Mexico (not just Sandals) and I am always happy to offer my honest opinion and honesty about them. I do have some of my favorites, with great feedback from clients as well. The Sandals Grande st Lucian is one of my favorites for sure. This resort is beautiful and sits on Rodney Bay with the most spectacular scenery. I don't know if you watch the Bachelor but they actually filmed right at Sandals Grande St Lucian once and up on pigeon park which has a Fort at the top you can climb to right from the resort. The staff is so friendly and it has a nice mixture of upbeat, entertainment offerings as well as you can slip away and find a nice quiet spot together as well. The watersports are great at this resort as being in Rodney bay it is very protected and stays very calm. The island itself has so much to do, really tropical and fun tours. Remember, you have exchange privileges at the other 2 resorts, and they run a complimentary shuttle between them, so it can be fun to go over for a day and hang in the pool, maybe go to one of the other resorts for dinner. there are so many great restaurants to choose from between them all. The rooms at the resort have very different views/locations and which way they are facing, so it's important to know a bit more about what your booking, I'm happy to explain in more detail, it's my pleasure to help in anyway. My friend went to a Sandals in St. Lucia last year and they had an amazing time!

I just got back from Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia and visited the grande while I was there. It's an absolutely STUNNING resort.
