Sandals Destination: Antigua or St. Lucia

Do a cruise and go to both!

ETA: Sorry, no other reason than because it's where I'm going. But really, I don't think you could go wrong with either.

I'm going to St. Lucia! We'll be staying at Halcyon.

Antigua!!! I've never been to St. Lucia, so I can't compare but I have taken quite a few cruises and visited many beaches. Antigua has been my favorite beach- and I'm one of those people that prefer that usually prefers the pool. Go to Antigua, you will not be disappointed!!!

We looked into Antigua and we're going to stay in sugar ridge. Changed our minds to different location

We are going to St. Lucia and staying at Halcyon. We chose it because you can go to all 3 resorts at any time. We also had friends go there and just loved it.

I've been to both places. I would definitely go back to St. Lucia in a heartbeat. Breathtaking views from the top of the island.

That's a tough one, but I would go with St Lucia. The island is absolutely beautiful. On St Lucia, Sandals has a free shuttle that runs between their 3 resorts, which gives you a ton of variety while you're there.

Sandals Grande Antigua is also very pretty! But please keep in mind that the beach at that resort is a public beach.

St. Lucia is beautiful. It is a lush green island with lots of activities to offer including zip lining (so much fun). Antigua is nice as well, the beaches are amazing but I would go with St. Lucia. I am not a huge fan of Sandals resort just because in my experience other resorts have offered better food and better service. I used a travel agent Pam 305-283-3228 to book everything, she price matches, no cost to me, and got me lots of perks through the resort.

I personally have been to Antigua and it was one of the best places I ever been to. Do your research and see what each place has to offer that you would enjoy.

We're going to St Lucia & staying at the grande! We're actually being married in st Lucia!!! We couldn't be more excited

I just went to St. Lucia for my honeymoon. It was INCREDIBLE.

We actually stayed at the Windjammer Landing, and it was great. We had such a cool experience and I would totally recommend it.

Also, a TON of people are going to St. Lucia... I kinda want to make a thread about it because there are lots of things I learned/would've liked to know before...

St Lucia is great. Never been to Antigua so I can't comment on that island. I am actually getting married there next year at Windjammers in St. Lucia where @Swin went on her honeymoon. It's a beautiful island and so relaxing. I think either island would be fantastic. Happy planning.

We stayed at the Grande St Lucia and I can't say enough good things about it. We loved it and the food was amazing. The shuttle to the other resorts is nice too. We found the Grande had the best beach/ pool. And I heard they added some of the restaurants that were at the other resorts that we went to. It's gorgeous you can't go wrong at the Grande. I've never been to Antigua, which was our second choice. Our travel agent told us St Lucia was better.
