Hi there!

I wasn't sure what date to put as a RSVP deadline. My wedding is August 28th. I will be sending Invites in the next few weeks.

Your RSVP deadline should be 1-2 weeks before your final headcount is due to vendors.

I think it's also helpful to pick an easy date to remember. August 1st will be more easily remembered and stick in peoples' heads easier than August 8th, for example.

We did Aug 1 for an Aug 24 wedding, and still had to chase people down.

Yeah. Ours is November 21st and we will probably send out the invites around mid to late September. I’m having the RSVPs due about a month before the ceremony so I can track down any stragglers with plenty of time. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I was thinking 30 days prior to the wedding. With that said our head count is due 2 weeks prior.

We did May 2 for our June 2 wedding. Just because it was exactly 1 month it was easier to remember. Maybe do August 1?

We're telling guests to RSVP by Sept. 30th for our October 25th wedding. The reason is I want to give a final head count to our vendors and I dont know want to have to worry about chasing people down so close to the wedding.

Our wedding is July 19 and our RSVP deadline is July 1. That way we have time to contact guests who haven't RSVP'd. For your date, I'd do something around the first week of August like maybe August 10.
