Hey everyone! My fiance and I are huge fans of fall, Halloween, and horror! We were really hoping to get married and have a Halloween horror-inspired wedding in a rustic fall sort of venue. As for how to make a wedding pull in classy features from Halloween and horror themes, I think I have a lot of inspiration to draw from. My big concern is if there are any ways to make it feel more romantic without it just looking like Halloween and Valentine's Day had a baby 😬 I'm open to ideas, and also advice. I mean we are unique but I still want to have it be a wedding and not a Halloween party if that makes sense..

I think if you stick to dark moody colors and stay away from hearts, pumpkins and anything that overtly a screams Halloween/Valentine’s Day you’ll be fine.

I love Halloween and I'm getting married close to Halloween. My idea is dark romance so I'm using dark colors and hoping to do lots of candles and low lighting.

I agree with those who recommend dark, moody colors. I can definitely picture a gothic wedding with dark romance!

Dark colors like purple and black. No hearts. Skulls incorporated into your centerpiece somehow. Lots of candles. Smoke machine.

Dark moody colors, maybe not the face paint in the Jack 'O Lantern picture, but I think thats a neat idea. Could do a candy bar for favors where people make their own goody bags. If you want to incorporate horror I wouldn't go gory with fake blood or anything, you still want to try to keep it elegant. If you really wanted you could have your guests dress in costume (completely optional)

Also, almost wedding date twins!! I'm getting married the day after on the 30th! I'm going more fall vibe with burgundy bridesmaid dresses and sunset colors for flowers (pinks, peaches, orange), going to have lawn games, fire pit, apple cider/coffee/hot chocolate - lots of flowers but I really wanted to do a halloween-esque wedding!

I would have loved to have a similar themed wedding!! Unfortunately my fiancé is not into Halloween and horror like I am lol (we're total opposites)
I'm really in love with this "Til Death" theme or anything with dark moody colors like mentioned in previous comments!

That is our theme , and the same thought went into planning...goth, Halloween and elegant without it screaming Halloween party! I'm using primarily black linens and mercury glass with white real flame candles. For centerpieces, I plan on looking for clear glass skulls now that Halloween decor will be hitting the stores, as well as black velvet pumpkins with silver bud vases holding a couple of anemone. Think texture, luxury and moody!

I'd also recommend looking at photos of Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese's wedding for elegant spooky
