Ring box

Elizabeth, on July 20, 2021 at 10:54 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 18
We are getting close! I am trying to finalize the little things and need some help. We don't have a ring bearer so I was wondering what to do with the rings. I know the best man usually holds them but do I get a ring box or something? I dont want to spend a lot on a box that we will probably will never use again, any suggestions?

My fiancé was in a wedding without a ring bearer and the best man just kept the rings in his pocket. I don't think you need a special ring box.

You could just get a cheap drawstring bag from Amazon or something and put them in there! The best man can keep it in his pocket until you need the rings.

I got my ring box from Etsy and I think it was like $40 something? It's velvet with a gold metal top and it came with a custom engraving on the top! Def. not necessary, but I take my ring off every night and when we go to the gym, so I wanted to have a nice box to put it in!

A ring box will be nice if you plan on having your photographer include your rings in the details pictures beforehand. I just got a nice velvet one on Amazon for like $17.

You definitely don't need one but it's something you're interested in having, Etsy has some nice options for affordable prices. I got a nice personalized, engraved box for $30 that I really like as a keepsake! Here's the shop link if you're interested: https://www.etsy.com/listing/788347185/custom-wedding-ring-box-wood-ring-box?ref=yr_purchases

We are using a little jewelry bag. It’s not bulky in a tux and no hassle.

I found a small ring "book" on Amazon that goes with our Enchanted Christmas theme for the Best Man to hold on to since we don't have a ring bearer.

There are tons of cheap ring boxes on amazon or etsy. I plan on getting one that's under $30. But I'll also use it more. I currently don't like wearing my ring when showering, going to the beach/pool, going to the gym or at night, so I'll have a place to keep it safe, right now I use the engagement ring box.

You're welcome! It's def. a cheaper option and easier, plus it gives your rings that extra protection so you have a peace of mind!

A simple drawstring baggie is fine. I ordered a velvet ring box off of Etsy that had two ring slots, so it could be used for ring photos by our photographer as well as for our ceremony holding my husband's and my wedding bands, and then now it is what I use to hold my engagement ring and wedding band when I am not wearing them (which is most of the time, as I pretty much only wear them when going out and wear a silicone ring around the house when doing chores and such, and I don't wear any rings at all to bed).

I think the box will look great in the photos. If you do not know where to buy it cheaply then go online and search. I think you will find there at a low price something good

I got this box for ours. We're not having a wedding party, so I'll have the rings. I'm carrying a designer bag instead of a bouquet, so I'll keep them in there. My fiance doesn't trust the kids to ring bear.
