Ring box for photos?

I’m not bringing any aside the original box only plan to get pictures without box but if it makes you happy why not get a cute box😅

We brought our rings in the original box, but our photographer used other props to take nice ring photos (see below). She also took one with each of our rings on our name on the invitation.

We got a ring box off of Etsy in one of our wedding colors with FH's last initial on the top. Mostly it was because we're having the best man hold the rings, so figured it would be easier to keep both rings in a single box than two boxes (both of which are larger than the ring box), but also because I don't wear my engagement ring 24/7 or have a ring dish or anything, so it's nice to have someplace nice to put it.

I'm still debating on whether to do a flatlay photo of our rings or something, but if we do I will definitely buy a ring box from themrsbox.com! They look really pretty, plenty of options to customize, and an expansive color palette to choose from.

My photographer put my engagement ring in my bridal bouquet and took some photos like that. I also had a few photos of it with the original black velvet jewelry box.


The pictures of both of our wedding bands were placed by the photographer and made really nice shots.
I would suggest getting one of you think you’ll use it after the wedding! 🥶

We're hoping to get velvet ring boxes for details photos- but it'll depend on cost and how much we decide we want them

We're doing a lot of origami decorations, so I'm ordering a nice origami box from Etsy to keep both the rings. Because it's paper, it's only $6.

My photographer brought a few different ring boxes of her own and used the ones she thought looked best.

I got a customized velvet box on Etsy from VelvetRoseDesignsCo. Once my wedding band came in I knew I wanted one box to hold both rings instead of keeping both original boxes on my dresser. Since it came out nicely I'm going to use it for photos too so it was a two birds one stone situation for me. My fiance liked my box so much I ended up ordering one for his wedding band too.

Mine just arrived! (It’s in a dusty rose to coordinate with our wedding colors. Ordered it on Amazon). Here’s the items I’m thinking of providing our photographer for a flat lay, alongside our wedding invite, ribbon, and/or loose flowers. It’ll be passed off to the best man shortly before our ceremony.

Our photographer used items in our mid-century hotel room. We also opted for a soft velvet satchel so the BM can easily pack it in his tight tux (no pants pockets). If you like that vintage look, go for one time use & pay Etsy shipping costs. I, myself hate storing empty boxes.

I am crafting my own box from Hobby Lobby, their unfinished wood is 40% off, I will stain it and let our 4 year old daughter carry it down the aisle since she is too shy to be a flower girl.

We ordered ours from CamelliaAndLove. It's super similar to Ashley's second photo, just in a hexagon shape and with a calligraphy letter. I'm getting my engagement ring soldered to my wedding band, so we only needed 2 slots for my ring and FH's ring, but there's plenty of shops on Etsy that have boxes with 3 slots if you need them!

We ordered two for our details shot. Our photographer also did a close up ring shot on my bouquet.

We ordered a custom two ring box with our names on it! All of our custom stuff is wooden and we’re getting married in a Cider Barn that’s all gorgeous wood, so it made sense to order wood items.
