I started out wanting to rent a home for my destination wedding in Las Vegas but found that I would not get any response, they would not allow weddings/parties at all or it was exorbitantly priced. I was contacting people from sites like AirBnB, VRBO, Homeaway and even Craiglist. Ultimately, we decided to rent out a patio at a restaurant for the reception.

Are you getting married close to the strip? If so also look into getting a big suite at a hotel you can still DIY that's what we did and it was amazing!

Hi Beverly! If we weren’t getting Married on the same day (wedding twins!!) I would have suggested the house I’m renting to stay in during my time there. They allow events. I need a home that allows events because I’m having a meet and greet/pregame the evening before my wedding. Home Away has some great choices. You have to filter “allows parties/events” in your search.

View Quoted Comment You’re welcome!! No, I’m not using a planner. Our wedding is at Sunset Gardens, so I didn’t see a need for a planner. They do most of the work, and they provide a list of vendors to choose from. Plus I love to plan things like this, so I’m excited to plan my wedding with the help of my mom and wedding party! I’ll definit tell you how everything goes!
