Rehearsal Disaster

The rehearsal our officiant insisted on having was a mess! First it’s volunteer week at our church and instead of having everyone leave at 8:30 everyone stayed still making blankets for cancer patients. Then we couldn’t find the officiant! Turns out he called FH to cancel but since FHs phone broke yesterday we didn’t get the message!

So so here I am in the foyer of the church directing people as to what’s what while there’s a bunch of commotion going on. Meanwhile my 12 year old and 9 year old were having melt downs and my 12 year old disappeared. Then FH was asking a bunch of questions. So I took several deep breaths, reminded myself FH seriously needs step by steps and slowly and just got through it. I think it’ll all be ok though. One more day to get through.
