How do I find out who purchased a gift from our registry? We received a gift today and it doesn’t have a label or anything on it. Is there a way to find out who’s it from?

I'd imagine you could probably call the store and ask them to look it up. Is there a receipt with an order number or anything included?

Nothing at all. I didn’t even think to call the store. Thank you Paige. I’ll do that.

Usually registries have a page where you can see eho purchased the gifts. What store is it?

That's so odd! Hopefully the store could look it up from your address or names on the registry or something!

I called, they said there’s no way to tell unless I return it. Which is strange.

Not sure if this works or is what you need but this is from the Target website

How do I use the registry gift tracker? The registry gift tracker allows you to review who has purchased gifts from your registry and keeps track of thank you notes you’ve sent.

To use the gift tracker tool on Target.com:
    1. Sign in to your Target account.
    2. Visit the Registry page and select your registry.
    3. In the Getting started section on your registry’s Home page, select Track your gifts to review a list of gifts purchased, along with the quantity, purchaser name and date.
    4. Keep track of the thank you notes you've sent by selecting the checkbox under Thank you sent?.
    5. You can also print your list by selecting Print list.

    Please note:
    • Gift tracker is available for registries created on or after January 17, 2017.
    • Group gifts are not currently available in gift tracker.
    • This item will appear in gift tracker once the gift has shipped.

Hope you can solve the mystery!

If you go on your target account on your registry go to “gift tracker” and there should be an option to show the names who purchased it. If they bought it online it should show their name. If they bought it in store it usually just says “mystery shopper”

I’d tried but it only had the delivery information. Luckily I did the chat option and the guy was able to tell me who sent them. I didn’t even see the option for gift tracker. I just logged back in and saw it, I totally missed this the first time. Thanks so much Ashley!
