Registry Help!!!!

Samantha, on March 27, 2020 at 9:54 AM Posted in Registry 1 9
I'm starting to prep my registry and have no idea what to add!!! My FH and I just bought a house and have lived to together for 3 years now so we have almost everything! I'm making a honeymoon find as well but multiple family members have mentioned rather getting us gifts instead. I have the common household things on there already that we could use but don't know what else to add. HELP!!!!!

My husband and I lived together for several years before we got married. We lived in an apartment rather than a house though. We had a lot of stuff already, but we decided to upgrade things. While you may already have a lot of stuff, is there anything you could use new of?

We had all of the basic home necessities, so this is mostly what our registry consisted of.

    Extra towels and linens

Colored hand towels based on the season or holiday (red and green for Christmas, orange and brown for fall, etc.)

Upgraded small appliances (mostly just our $10 Target toaster and hand mixer)

Camping items (tent, sleeping bags, outdoor cookware)

Hosting items (serving platters, cheese board)

I've already added new dishes and flatware. I'll have to look around to see what we can update

Anything you think would be fun but haven’t wanted to spend the money on yourself! A roomba, a margarita maker, a fancy shower head that makes your shower like a rainforest lol

I just suggested to a couple on here in that type of situation that maybe finding things that would make for great date nights for yourselves would be cute - like some board games, some kind of crafting or cooking kits you guys can do together, etc. those would be physical gifts

Kitchen: food processor, nice cooking utensils (that all match), cute measuring cups, a stand mixer, vacuum seal machine (great if you buy a lot of meat and want it to store well in the freezer), stainless steel pots/pans, nice Tupperware, a nice trash can (the ones that open with a wave of the hand are pretty neat)

Things that would make good group gifts: machine, Dyson fans (this is on my wish list for sure!), roomba vacuum, a nice luggage set
Bedsheets, comforter/duvet sets, nice towels, bath mats, bathroom accessory set (like the toothbrush holder, soap pump, etc that matches)
Laundry room items like laundry baskets/hamper, flat drying rack for sweaters, hanging dry rack, laundry room storage bins/canisters
Outdoor/home security items like a ring doorbell, NEST thermometer, Alexa & accessories (if you want a more tech savvy home), patio furniture, grill or grilling accessories (we love our grill wok for veggies!), firepit, yard games (cornhole, giant jenga)
    Hope these things help!

Some of my friends recommended getting new, quality things for the home, so we've added more pots, pans, and dishes just so that we have a fresh set that will last another 10 years or so. I have some art that I've wanted to get framed so frames are on there, and we're putting a quality camera and board games on our registry. We're registered through Amazon, so we're able to register for non-traditional items like board games through that. And Amazon is working out well now due to the pandemic (minus the impending amazon worker strike blasted through the media)
