Readings for the ceremony

Nina, on April 2, 2024 at 1:39 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 1

Hello all! I need some help/advice. We are going to have two readings for the ceremony and I'd like one to be a bible verse and the other one doesn't necessarily have to be biblical or religious. I see the most common ones and I don't get strong feelings about any of them. We have been together for over 8 years now and by the time we get married it will have been 9. People often give us a hard time about how long we've been together but not married yet, but I wouldn't change anything. If there were verses or readings that people were familiar with that had to do with time and/or falling more in love over time, I'd love to hear suggestions for my fiance and I to see. Thanks!

What Bible passages resonate with you that you want to include? Don’t feel pressured to use something common because everyone else does.

Have you browsed via Google for readings? There are tons beyond the basic selection found everywhere. Offbeatwed.com has many options that are not found on the standard lists.
